MANUAL

SHOCK BUFFERING SYSTEM AIRBAG SYSTEM
As soon as the rider is thrown from the horse, the airbag inflates and protects rider’s neck, back, chest, sides and hip.
●Hit-air is rider’s wear containing shoulder, elbow and back padding (back padding is only for vests) and airbag system.
●Shock-buffering protection system will be activated immediately after the distance from the rider to the horse exceeds the “activation distance”, when the key ball is pulled out from the key box to release CO2 gas into the neck, back, chest, side and hip airbags for lessening the effect of impact on rider’ body.
●After the airbag is inflated in full, it leaks the gas slowly through the gas release valve and a feeling of tightness will subside gradually.

Re-Assembly Following Activation

Make a hexagon wrench and a setting bolt (screw) ready. |
Unscrew the used gas cartridge and remove all remaining gas from the airbag. |
Insert a setting bolt into the key box and tighten up by hand.
Then tighten further with the hexagon wrench.
(Then the hole for the key ball goes down) |
Tighten or loosen the hexagon wrench until the hole for the key ball is placed at the center of the hole of the key box. |
Then insert the key ball ring rightly and deeply into the hole of the key box.
(Press down the ring by the fingernail) |
Lower the red guard over the hole and remove the setting bolt.
(Y type has no red guard) Caution- If the red guard does not come down,
it means that the key ball is not set properly.
Use the setting bolt or fingernails for further adjustment until the key ball is settled down completely. |
Lift the red guard after the setting bolt is removed.
(Y type has no red guard) Caution- If the red guard remains down over the key ball in the hole,
it will block the key ball coming out and the airbag will not inflate.
The red guard of the key box should always be up. |
Screw an unused gas cartridge fully into the bottom until it cannot go any further.
Caution- If the gas cartridge is not screwed tightly,
the gas may leak through a loose screw and the airbag may not inflate in full. |
Close the zipper to cover the key box.
The end of Re-assembly. |
The outer jacket or vest only can be washed after the airbag system is removed.
(The airbag system should not be washed)
As the airbag system is simply fastened to the jacket by means of buttons, fasteners and/or Velcro, it can be removed easily by unfastening them.
The gas will not leak out of the unused gas cartridge, even if it is removed from the airbag system at the same time
(If/when the key ball comes out of the key box, a needle in the key box punctures the seal of the gas cartridge to inflate the airbag system)*See User’s Guide in detail. |
